CBD Location Sunny Warm Free off Street Parking

Fabulous location, sunny and spacious. It’s a lovely complex with fabulous off street parking. Positive: Loved the location and secure off street parking. We were travelling with our young children so being so close to the Margaret Mahey playground was fabulous. The apartment is large, sunny and spacious and had everything we needed. Negative: All of the beds were very VERY hard. This is not my personal preference and found it difficult to sleep . The chairs in the lounge are also not designed for comfort simply decorative and it’s such a shame there is no outdoor seating on the lovely deck. Navigating the keypad ,heavy to open fire door and stair situation was a little bit tricky while juggling very young children.. but this wouldn’t be an issue in any other situation.

Positive: The location was great and within walking distance to the town centre. Negative: We had a loud industrial whirring noise all night and initially thought it was construction outside as you could hear it from street level. The next morning, the noise continued and thought it might have been coming from the neighbour upstairs. We went upstairs to complain but they were equally as confused. Turns out there was a ‘fan’ switch in the living room that needed to be turned on in order for the noise to disappear. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing in NZ as I’m not local but I wish it was made known in the manual or when contacting the host for assistance. I felt that the host wasn’t overly helpful in this situation. I was travelling with senior aged parents who were quite upset about the noise as they couldn’t sleep at night which soured our experience overall. Check-in instructions given were clear but a photo of the car park entrance would have also been helpful.

Convenient, comfortable, bright and sunny Positive: Conveniently located, very bright, sunny and cheerful, comfortable with everything you possibly need for a great stay in Christchurch, would definitely book again.

Positive: Central location new clean tidy Negative: Blinds on bedroom windows - too much light and if open window they flap and clatter

The apartment was sparkling clean. Very attractive and pleasant, close to everything. Great stay.
