Positive: It was clean. Parking was convenient. Shower was excellent Negative: Smelled of cooking all through. The bedrooms lacked bedside lights and a dressing table. The temperature was pathetic, the heat pump was totally inefficient. We were cold on arrival and found 1 hot water bottle between 2 beds. I phoned the staff at 5pm and she was unable to assist me as she said the office was closed, also that she was busy with a family matter. She advised to turn the heat pump to 24° and that it would toasty warm in no time. We arrived back home around 10pm and the temperature was way below comfort for mid winter. We shared the hot water bottle between 2 beds and endeavored to sleep with socks and thermals on. I would not recommend this place.

Our week in Christchurch Positive: Had most things you need. Well appointed kitchen. Two bedrooms. Lounge, dining table, washing machine, dryer, and parking facilities. Was close enough to the city you can walk in if you want to - 2 klm - we did. Negative: We stayed here for a week. Initially we thought we were experiencing earthquake tremors in Christchurch. Enough for us to google whether that was possible. We soon realised that when a truck or bus passed by the whole building shook and we were not experiencing a potential quake. The road was quite noisy as the townhouse is on a very busy main road in Christchurch. We also found the town house heating not adequate.

bad and regretful Positive: Water pressure was good Negative: Constant vibration throughout the house whenever vehicles passed by, both day and night. The property is very close to the main road, making it quite noisy at night. One bedroom’s blinds could barely block the bright street light coming through the window. There was also a strong, unpleasant disinfectant smell when we checked in and first entered the house.
